About this propertyThe family run Western Hotel is located in the heart of Galway, just off Eyre Square. The property offers limited on-site parking, spacious en-suite rooms, a restaurant and a cosy bar which hosts traditional Irish music every Wednesday & Thursday night.

Consisting of three Georgian buildings, the hotel offers an old-world style along with modern facilities

Rooms at the Western have private bathrooms with baths, showers and hairdryers. They also include tea/coffee making facilities.

Freshly Cooked and continental breakfasts are served daily in the restaurant. 3-course evening meals are served, and guests can enjoy a carvery, a light lunch menu, and an evening á la carte menu. Fine local produce is used in all meals.

The bright and spacious Western Bar has a fine selection of drinks and shows major sporting events on large screen TVs.

Guests also have access to the Snap Fitness gym for a surcharge of EUR 10 per session. Please contact the property for further information.

Limited on-site, valet parking is available for all guests (height restriction is 2.2m). Guests are required to leave their keys with our valet.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They were really lovely. The room was clean and the bed comfy. The shower was fab.
The TV was broken. There was not enough milk for coffee. The.bedsude light was very difficult to figure out, there should have been something to show us that the switch was on the under neath of the light, completely invisible and a very odd place for it. There is a manhole cover on the road outside which banged everytime a car drove over it and kept me awake all night. I was woken at 5am by the extremely noisy shower motor next door. The room was quite small and not worth 200 euros a night, in my opinion. We needed something to eat after a long day travelling to a funeral and the kitchen closed at 9.30. that, I understand. What I don't understand is why any hotel does not have room service. They refused to even make us a sandwich. There was no bar food. Two in our party had pain walking and we could not walk to another restaurant. I thought the food services provided were inadequate for a city centre hotel. I could not recommend this hotel
